HARMONIOUS CONTRASTS: design as an artist’s intervention on nature.
The Bizzotto 2019 collection focuses on surprising details.
The idea of design as a language that represents the harmony between man and nature is evolved by considering the act of the artist who works on nature. At the 2019 Salone del Mobile. Milano Shanghai 2019 (Western Hall — N°1 Ground Floor — WG06) Bizzotto is presenting a contemporary setting, faithful to the style of an elegant and sober luxury that characterises the brand, which is popular both in Italy and over the world.
In the most current proposals, an eclectic note leads the way, a concession to the artist who chooses to surprise with style details that are imposed on the observer.
Nature is read as a contrast of elements: dark tones such as the new graphite colour alternate with extremely bright solutions, natural finishes are enhanced in combination with glittering metallic inserts, while complex treatments emphasize the natural characteristics of the material.
Playing a key role is the blended colour effect, which we find on the wood and on the glass, to give character to a table, to the ceiling light, or to the briar root, a long-standing feature by Bizzotto that comes in a very light version, embellished by a chromatic effect with denim and grey.
Of all the processes, the Flamme effect is the most notable one, an exclusive idea by Bizzotto that is used on furniture and wall coverings.
